چکیده
In this study, we present a BCC detector based on confocal Raman spectroscopy using maximum a posteriori probability (MAP) and fuzzy algorithm. The preprocessing step consists of data normalization with minmax method and dimension reduction with principal components analysis (PCA). To enhance the classification performance, we divide Raman spectra into two significant protein bands, i.e., Amid I and Amid III mode and extract features independently. In this way, classification experiments with fuzzy and MAP algorithms were carried out using 216 confocal Raman spectra. According to the experimental, the proposed two band approach enhance the classification performance of the fuzzy and MAP algorithm meaningfully. Introduction: Raman spectroscopy, that is a spectroscopic technique based on inelastic scattering of monochromatic light, can provide valuable information about molecular vibrations, so using this technique we can study molecular changes in a sample. Material and Methods: In this research, 153 Raman spectra obtained from normal and dried skin samples. Baseline and electrical noise were eliminat...
متن کاملA Review of Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy on Potential Clinical Applications Towards Diagnosing Colorectal Cancer
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the leading cancers in the world and early-screening is still the best method of cancer patient survival. However, colonoscopy as the current gold standard is not without flaws and an emerging technique called surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) coupled with machine learning is a possible candidate that could be applied in parallel with colonoscopy. This...
